DR.THIYANESWARAN N

PROFESSOR & HEAD

Dr. Thiyaneswaran Nesappan completed his BDS and MDS from Saveetha University and at present heads Implantology Department at Saveetha Dental College and is also the Associate Dean of Faculty. He has received the Fellowship and Diplomate from ICOI He has multiple national and international publications and awards to his name. His constant hardwork and commitment has led to an gigantic milestone for the institution which recently recorded 10000 implants placed at the department.

DR ABHINAV R P

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR

Dr.Abhinav completed his BDS from Ragas Dental College and Hospitals in the year 2012 and his MDS in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery from Saveetha Dental College and Hospitals in the year 2016.He holds a Fellowship from the International College of Oral Implantologists. He has to his name several publications in PUBMED and SCOPUS indexed journals,He is currently pursuing his PhD from Deakin University,Australia.He is well trained in complex bone augmentation procedures and zygomatic implants.

DR SUBHASHREE R

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR

Dr. Subhashree Rohinikumar obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from Sri Ramachandra University in 2013 and pursued her post graduate education from Saveetha Dental college in 2017. She is also a certified fellow and diplomate from International Congress of Oral Implantologist. She is also been trained in the BPS system of removable prostheses for which she has been certified by ICDE, Ivoclar, Schaan. She is specialised in full mouth rehabilitations, dental implants placement and restoration, veneers, crowns and bridges and dentures. She has performed many dental implant surgeries from simple to complex cases which lead her to have passion towards dental implants and bone regeneration. Her main focus is to rebuild smile and aesthetics for all the patients.

DR ARVINA

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR

Dr. Arvina is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Periodontics. She graduated her BDS in CSI College of Dental Science and Research Institute and completed her Masters in Periodontics from Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences. She was awarded Gold Medal for her academic excellence in postgraduation. She has attended various speciality conferences and presented papers/posters and has over 70 publications to her credit.

Dr. S.DIMPLE RANI

Doctor Dimple graduated from SRM dental college Chennai in the year 2016 and did her Fellowship in Dental Implantology from Saveetha Dental College, Chennai in the year 2017. She is also a member and  fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologist (U.S.A). Doctor is very well known for her positivity and work ethic. She has been awarded the title “ the best workaholic of the year 2019”  for guiding more than 3014 Implant procedures in one year . Dr.Dimple has set the targets high with her multitasking abilities and has created a positive work environment amongst her peers. Even as a clinician, she has leaped many boundaries and conquered many hearts by creating beautiful smiles. Her passion towards academics and clinicals lead her to achieve the Best Instructor and Guide award.

Dr. SAHANA S

Senior Lecturer

Dr.Sahana obtained her Bachelor of dental surgery degree from SRM Dental college, Ramapuram, She was a gold medalist in General surgery, Oral pathology and Public health dentistry. She passed out as a University topper. She was also the National topper in the subject Public health dentistry and received  the award at the PHD summit Orissa. She completed her MS Implantology from Saveetha dental college. She has many best paper and poster presentation awards  to her credit to name a few, Best paper at ADI Conclave, INDIA chapter, 2nd Best poster from ICOI : 1000 implant symposium, Saveetha dental college, Best paper award from the 5th international world and oral health congress 2020, Europe series.  She is a recipient of Fellowship from International congress of oral implantologists (FICOI), USA. She is an upcoming Implantologist with a zest and zeal towards clinical research. She has an undying passion towards teaching and aims to be a complete academician. She is currently pursuing her PhD studies in Implantology at Saveetha Dental college.

Dr. SAM JEBARAJ A

Senior Lecturer

Dr. Sam Jebaraj obtained his Bachelor of Dental surgery degree from Saveetha dental college, Chennai. He has procured budding Oral Medicine award in the year 2017. He was a part of the student exchange program at Ajman University, UAE. He completed his MS Implantology at Saveetha dental college. He is a fellow at the International Congress of Oral Implantology (FICOI, USA). His compassion towards the patients sets him apart. He is an Upcoming clinician with interest in Oral Implantology. He has 10 publications to his credit. He aims to excel in his chosen field and create beautiful smiles along the way.

Dr. SUNDARAM

Senior Lecturer

Dr. Sundaram Surendran graduated with honors in Dentistry from Thai Moogambigai Dental College Hospital in 2017. After gaining experience in Chennai, he completed his postgraduate fellowship at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences in 2019. His commitment to advancing oral health led him to a Master's in Implantology from Saveetha University in 2023. Recognized as a fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantology, Dr. Surendran specializes in implant surgical procedures and biomaterials.
